500,000 People to Rally in Hong Kong

It's been one week since 8 Hong Kong people were killed in the Manila hostage ordeal, and according to Chinese traditions, the seventh day after a death is the height of the mourning period.

500-thousand people are expected to rally in Hong Kong on Sunday to demand justice for the victims of the tourist bus bloodbath in Manila. The march starts at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay about 3pm local time and ends at Charter Garden.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang says two police officers have been sent to Manila to investigate the incident. They will liaise with Philippine authorities and Interpol. Hong Kong's Secretary for Security Lai Tung-kwok says although the police cannot take enforcement action in Manila, they can collect evidence from witnesses in the presence of their Philippine counterparts.
